Founded by Valerie, a storyteller, designer, and creative visionary with a background in hotel & tourism management, public relations, fashion, and design—Locals World is more than a brand. It’s a movement.
We believe in the power of place. We believe in the power of women. And we believe in the power of storytelling to shift the way we travel, shop, and connect—with ourselves and with the world.
Locals World was born from the desire to slow down, live intentionally, and support the small businesses, artisans, and wellness communities that shape the soul of a city. From New York to Miami and beyond, our mission is to bridge the gap between tourism and local culture, using design, strategy, and storytelling as our tools.
Our Mission
To increase human-to-human connection. As a remote nomad, a dream of mine, I know the importance of having connection, and bringing meaning or purpose into our daily daily lives. I want my community to feel home is where the heart is. I want to achieve this for others through curated itineraries that bring people to explore the depths of local culture and meet locals along the way.
I also want us to become our higher selves,
because the world deserves that.

We help women-led brands, creatives, and local businesses bring their visions to life. Through brand consulting, visual storytelling, and intentional design, we craft brands that feel magnetic—on screen and in real life.
We also curate hyper-local travel itineraries that support small businesses, women-owned brands, and local creatives. From booking the right hotel to sourcing your wellness rituals—we help you feel like a local, wherever you land.
And through Locals Closet, we showcase emerging designers, slow fashion labels, and artisan goods you can’t find in fast-fashion stores or crowded malls. These pieces are meant to be worn with pride, carried home with intention, and remembered long after your travels end.
